He explains the movie very clearly and shows clips from the movie which go along with what is talking about.

I think the movie was filmed very good for being from 1954.I also liked how during the film multiple stories are occurring like the murder, the lonely lady who was going to kill herself, and the song writer struggling to write music.All of this is seen though the eyes of the main character who was stuck in his apartment because of a indy car accident.

Post war film

During the post war period for the film industry many new styles of films and ways of seeing them changed.With people now having access to watching television from there home making film more easily watchable much like today.With that comes all new styles of what is going into theaters and some on the T.V. Many of the films in the united states where noir films,along with the united states many actors and directors were suspended from there work because of work of communism. Ten were fined and blacklisted from Hollywood. As you can see film or movies have changed a lot over the years from communism to super hero saving the day.

In the film resolution is used to make the image clearer depending on what it is being played on like if it was on a big tv you would need a different resolution. aspect ratio is the ratio of height of the screen to the length.

If I did this again I would work with the music so it went with the film more.
